Select the Prepare Movie for Internet... menu item from the File menu in the application menu bar.
This option allows you to convert a QuickTime movie into a QuickTime Fast-Start movie. A fast start movie will allow part of the movie to be displayed before it has finished loading the complete movie file. This feature is helpful when posting a movie to the internet for others to view.
This feature can be used without a microscope or a camera being connected.
After selecting the Prepare Movie for Internet... menu item, a dialog will appear in the main window. Select the movie you want to convert. A dialog will appear indicating the progress of the conversion. The new fast start movie will be saved to the same location as the original movie. The fast start movie filename will be the same as the original movie with _fs appended to the new filename.
