miXscope - Snapshot of the Week
A time-lapse movie of a small piece of pizza
dough rising for 108 minutes. An image or frame
was captured every two minutes. Paprika was added
to the dough to help show the movement. The dough was
coated with olive oil to keep the dough from drying out.
The movie was captured with a Smithsonian
Computer Microscope at 10X magnification.
