miXscope - Snapshot of the Week
Toasted Marshmallow
An image sequence of the sun being focused through
a magnifying glass onto a mini marshmallow.
The time-lapse movie was created from a sequence of images using the
Image Sequence feature coming in version 3.2
The movie was captured with a Digital Blue QX5 Computer Microscope
at 10X magnification. The QX5 was strapped with velcro to a camera tripod leg.
CAUTION: Looking at the focused light from the sun can damage your eyes.
CAUTION: Be sure to follow proper safety rules when working with a possible fire hazard.
